Natchez trace state park could possibly be the mecca of tennessee camping grounds. Natchez state park has two improved campgrounds and one primitive camping area. All improved sited are concrete pads and accessible by paved roads. The bucksnort wrangler camp features 62 campsites with electric and water two bathhouses and a dump station.

Pin oak campground has 77 campsites full hookups and is on the shore of pin oak lake. Located right off the scenic natchez trace parkway natchez trace makes rv camping an adventure. The improved campgrounds are separated by a distance of approximately two miles. Its position within an 830 acre forested preserve means less crowds and more privacy.

Natchez trace state park campground has 208 campsites in 5 different areas with access to 4 lakes and 48 000 acres of outdoor recreation. The three parkway campgrounds are free primitive and available on a first come first serve basis. We have 32 sites available for rv camping that feature picnic tables 21 full and 4 electrical and water hookups. Camping at natchez trace state park over 200 campsites split between four campgrounds that include a standard campground with rv hookups a campground set up for small rvs and tents a backcountry campground for the adventurous and a wrangler camp for those who can t leave their horse behind.

Natchez trace state park has four picnic pavilions over 200 campsites and over 20 cabins available to be reserved for your next visit to the park. Both improved campgrounds have dump stations. Natchez trace wrangler camp is located 2 2 miles south of i 40 on hwy. Check in time is 4 pm and check out is 2 pm.

Camping along the natchez trace parkway there are more than a dozen campgrounds along the natchez trace parkway corridor three in the park and many others just outside the park. Each site has a picnic table ground grill pedestal grill lantern holder water and posts to picket horses. Bring the horse bike and hiking boots to take on the many trails go for a fish at one or all of the four lakes and take the boat out for a spin. Fishing in the smaller lake near the park entrance will remain open.
